l’Cobert de CANblau is CANblau Tapasbar’s little brother, which can be found in Aarhus and Aalborg. Literally translated from Catalan, we’re called “CANblau in a box” and our DNA is 100% authentic Spanish. Jimmy Holm, one of the creators of CANblau Tapasbar has worked in some of Spain’s best restaurants like el Bulli and el Cellar de Can Roca.
His return to Denmark in 2010 marked the beginning of a concept, CANblau, which our guests have responded to extremely well. The “new kid on the block” l’Cobert opened in 2016 in Aarhus Central Food Market and today we can proudly say it’s a succes. Our tapas are temperamental and delicious and we never compromise on the quality of our products. Surprising taste combinations and nuances, found in the best Spanish restaurants, are our focus and like in the Spanish tapas bars we serve the food fast.
One of our most popular items is our platter, with 4 tasty tapas for only 125 DKK. But we also have a wide range of innovative tapas like new takes on hot dogs and burgers. The latter with pork crackling integrated in the bun – hard to say no to!
